Niagara Peninsula Energy Inc. Opens its New Service CentreThe Town of Smithville, ON is home to the newly opened Niagara Peninsula Energy Inc. Service Centre announced today by CEO Brian Wilkie of Niagara Peninsula Energy Inc. An official opening ceremony took place at the site on 2676 Clifford Street in the Town of Smithville. Ontario Energy Board (OEB) Release New Electricity Rates Effective November 1, 2009Today, the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) released electricity commodity prices that take effect November 1, 2009. |

Call Before You DigEffective July 15, 2009 Niagara Peninsula Energy Inc. will use ON1CALL (Call Before You Dig) for locates of underground electrical wires throughout the Fonthill, Lincoln, and West Lincoln areas. Ontario One Call Ltd. or ON1CALL is a private corporation which receives excavator (including home owners) locate requests. Customer Service representatives at the call centre will take the necessary information regarding the excavation plans and will notify member utilities with underground facilities in your area. There is no charge to the excavator for this service. ON1CALL is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. ON1CALL accepts locate requests by telephone, e-ticket or Fax. They can be reached by Telephone (toll free) 1-800-400-2255 or Fax (toll free) 1-800-400-8876. Regulated Price Plan (RPP) - Effective May 1, 2009On April 15, 2009 Ontario Energy Board (OEB) released electricity commodity prices that take effect May 1, 2009. Ontario Energy Board (OEB) Release New Electricity Rates Effective November 1, 2008Today, the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) released electricity commodity prices that take effect November 1, 2008.
For a residential consumer using 1,000 kWh per month, the new RPP prices will result in a bill increase of approximately $2.40 per month. This takes into account the change in the threshold to 1,000 kWh per month. |

The Town of Smithville, ON will be home to the new Niagara Peninsula Energy Inc. Service Centre announced today by CEO Brian Wilkie of Niagara Peninsula Energy Inc. An official groundbreaking ceremony took place at the site on 2676 Clifford Street in the Town of Smithville at 10 AM Friday, September 5th.
