If you are a person that likes to reduce your home’s energy cost, then visit the Save on Energy Deal Days event. The event will begin October 6 and run until November 5, 2017. During this time, you can save instantly on a wide range of energy-efficient products.

Save on Energy Deal Days will replace the annual Coupon Event. Now customers will receive an instant discount at the point-of-purchase on any of the applicable products at one of the participating retail locations. Discounts will also be available online for select retailers. All annual and online coupons will expire and will no longer be accepted after September 30, 2017.

“By buying efficient products, it assists in managing your energy consumption year-round,” says Sue Forcier, Chief Conservation Officer at Niagara Peninsula Energy. “For example an LED bulb uses six to eight watts of electricity. A CFL bulb uses 13 to 15 watts and an incandescent bulb uses 60 watts or more. The less wattage you use the move you save.”

You can manage your energy costs by switching to more energy-efficient products throughout your house. These items can cost less to run and can last longer than regular products. Load up on items such as LED lightbulbs, power bars, dimmer switches, ceiling fans and more. Discounts on participating products will range from $1 off to $10 off.

Niagara Peninsula Energy Inc. will be present onsite to provide information and answer questions on the following dates and locations:

  • Canadian Tire – 6840 McLeod Rd. Niagara Falls, October 13, 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Lowe’s – 7959 McLeod Rd. Niagara Falls, October 14, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
