NOTICE: NPEI's Payment Drop-Box Will Be Inaccessible Until July 28

Published Date
Tuesday, July 21, 2020

The Niagara Peninsula Energy Inc. (NPEI) Bill Payment Drop-Box will be inaccessible until July 28, 2020 due to construction on Pin Oak Drive in Niagara Falls.

Construction on new sidewalks and curbs will begin Tuesday, July 21 2020 and will continue until July 28, 2020. This will make the NPEI parking lot inaccessible during this time. NPEI’s office doors have been closed since mid-March due to the COVID-19 pandemic; however, customers have still been able to utilize the Bill Payment Drop Box. NPEI is encouraging customers to use an alternate method of paying their bill. To pay a bill, NPEI offers a number of methods including:

  •          Save time and money by having your payments automatically withdrawn from your bank account each month on the due date, with the pre-authorized payment plan.
  •          Online or telephone banking through most Canadian Financial Institutions.
  •          Through our "My Account" online tool, visit www.npei.ca to register.
  •          Mailing a cheque or money order with the top portion of your bill to the NPEI office.
  •          Using your Mastercard or Visa by visiting www.npei.ca or over the phone using our third party automated toll free system at 1-877-281-2063.  Please note that there is a third party processing fee and such fee is not retained by NPEI.

NPEI encourages customers who have account questions to contact our office through phone at 1-877-270-3938, email at info@npei.ca, online at www.npei.ca, along with registering for NPEI's online portal, My Account, that allows customers to view and pay current and past bills, request moves, update contact details, along with managing electricity consumption by viewing usage data, hour by hour, for any given day.  The Automated Account Balance Lookup is also available by calling 1-877-601-3899.

The NPEI website also offers a number of online forms that can be completed for services such as, move-ins and move-outs, pre-authorized payments, equal payment plans and more.

We will continue to monitor the situation and advise our customers of any updates. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
