COMMERCIAL ELECTRICITY RATES:
Summer small business electricity rates begin on May 1, 2024 and will be in place until October 31, 2024. Beginning November 1, 2023 the Ontario government's Ontario Electricity Rebate is 19.3%.
Small Business electricity customers are able to choose a rate plan that best suits their lifestyle and household energy needs by giving them the option of choosing between Time-of-Use, Tiered or Ultra-Low Overnight rates. Learn more about Customer Choice.

The electricity rates charged to residential customers of Niagara Peninsula Energy Inc. are set by the Ontario Energy Board (OEB). In general, the rates set by the OEB recover two types of costs - the cost of generating the electricity and the cost of delivering the electricity to your residence.
