NPEI’s MyAccount Customer Portal and the NPEI Mobile App have been updated to allow users to enable notifications and/or multi-factor authentication (MFA).
MyAccount and the NPEI Mobile App users will now be able to opt-in to receive notifications when your bill is due and when your payment has been received. The Bill Due notification can be set to one, three or five days before your bill is due and will send you a reminder through email or text, depending on the option you’ve selected. The Payment Received notification will notify you when NPEI has received and posted your bill payment. This normally takes place during the next business day after you submit a payment.
Users can also sign up for Informational notifications to stay up to date with news and information from NPEI.
Multi-factor authentication is also available to users of MyAccount and the NPEI Mobile App. MFA adds an extra verification step when logging into MyAccount or the App to enhance your security. Users can choose to receive a one-time passcode by either phone or email that you will enter along with your regular login information. This is a great feature to ensure you are keeping your account as secure as possible.
NPEI will continue to bring more features and user options to our MyAccount Customer Portal and Mobile App to enhance the experience for our customers.
