Regular Electricity Pricing Resumes February 8

Electricity rates have returned to regular pricing as of February 8, 2022. Previously, the Ontario government had set electricity rates at the off-peak rate of 8.2 cents/kWh, 24 hours per day from January 18 - February 7, 2022. Households, farms and small businesses were receiving this off-peak rate automatically, whether they normally pay time-of-use or tiered rates.
