NPEI Wants Your Input! Phone/Email Survey to Begin October 17

Beginning October 17, Niagara Peninsula Energy Inc. (NPEI) will be contacting some of our electricity customers to conduct a satisfaction survey throughout our service territories of Niagara – Niagara Falls, Pelham, Lincoln and West Lincoln, to ask a few questions about our electrical services. The satisfaction survey is an important tool that assists NPEI to gauge the effectiveness of our various services – what we are doing well and where we might better focus our attention to improve our service delivery. Customers will not be asked for account, financial or other personal information.

Starting this week, customers who have been randomly selected may receive a phone call or an email invitation from UtilityPULSE asking you to participate in the survey, which takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. UtilityPULSE is a reputable opinion research company that has conducted surveys on behalf of utilities across the province for many years. You can learn more about UtilityPULSE at www.utilitypulse.com. NPEI wants people to know that this research study is legitimate and authorized by NPEI.

  • The survey is voluntary. You are not obligated to participate.
  • The survey is designed to help NPEI understand customer satisfaction as it relates to services provided by the utility. The survey should take approximately 10 minutes.
  • Customers will be contacted at random.
  • This is a legitimate research study.

NPEI is one of many electric utilities in Ontario now conducting customer satisfaction surveys, as required by the Ontario Energy Board. If you receive a call or email from UtilityPULSE asking you to participate in a survey for NPEI, please consider participating.

Answer 1: Survey participants will be randomly selected from a list of all residential and small business (GS < 50 kW) customers.

Question 2: What happens to the information gathered as part of this survey?

Answer 2: All information gathered through this survey will be stored on UtilityPulse firewall secured internal server. Please be assured this is a legitimate research study. To ensure customer privacy, all answers will be grouped together with those that completed the same survey. The information provided will be used for statistical purposes only.
