Update for Customers on Canada Post Service Disruption

NPEI strongly recommends enrolling in eBilling to ensure uninterrupted access to your bills and timely payment management.


Dear Valued Customers:

As Canada Post staff returns to work, they will still be experiencing a service disruption that is expected to delay mail delivery for NPEI customers. This week, NPEI will resume mailing bills. Please note that once NPEI sends these bills to Canada Post, it will be out of NPEI's control as to when your bill is delivered. Customer should still expect delays in the delivery of their bills.

Please review the following options for accessing your bills and making payments.

Options for receiving your bill on time:

1. Sign up for MyAccount and be automatically enrolled in eBilling. You can view your bill and energy consumption data, your current account balance, payment history and detailed energy use online 24/7. Sign up for MyAccount.

2. Sign up for eBilling to receive your bill electronically. You will receive an e-mail notification with a summary of your bill and a link to view your bill on our secure website. Sign up for ebilling.

3. You may call our Automated Account Balance Look Up option at 1-877-601-3899 to obtain your current balance and due date, or you may call 1-877-270-3938 to speak to a Customer Service Representative to retrieve this information.

Options for paying your bill:

Please be cautious if you choose to mail your payment. Delivery may be delayed because of the service interruption.

1. You can sign up for pre-authorized payments – have your payment automatically withdrawn from your bank account. Sign up for pre-authorized payments.

2. You can pay your bill through most financial institutions or by Credit Card through our website.

3. For your convenience, payments by cheque or money order can be deposited in our blue 24-hour drop box located in our office parking lot at 7447 Pin Oak Drive, Niagara Falls. Niagara Peninsula Energy Inc. WILL NOT be responsible for cash payments placed in the drop box.

Please remember, it is your responsibility to pay your Niagara Peninsula Energy bill by the due date.
